Why Film Stars do great in TN / India?

Long long time ago, so long ago that I forgot how long ago, I had this discussion with one of my friends.
In our youthful exuberance, we thought that the Michael Jacksons of the west and the stage performers who play music in our music nites are both equal! How inane of us!
Michael Jackson was a creator. While our boys who played music on stages for these music nites were just copy cats. They played what others created!
Cut the flash back and let us come to the present.
Filmistan is full of creators. Be it Rajnikanth with his unparalleled style quotient or Rahman with his adorable auricular capabilities, we hear and see something original creamed out of human brain.
Whereas on other walks of life, in Tamil Nadu and in India, do we see such creative exponentiation? How many categorically new products have found their ways into our homes and living rooms from Indian Creative engineers? Can we name one, please?
Be it the televisions or the laptops or the software. Do we have one to be called our own? And to say that we should have comparable levels of existence with that of creators, is not right?
There is no point in saying filmi buffs are enjoying all the limelight. They will as long as they are the only creators in the country. Next time, let us have creators in every walk of life, please!
