A World of Thoughts

நேற்று 3030 வருடத்திற்கு சென்று இருந்தேன்! அங்கே என் சந்ததிகளில் ஒருவன் 7ம் வகுப்பு படித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தான். அவன் வரலாற்று புத்தகத்தை வாங்கிப் பார்த்தேன். அதில் இருந்து சில பக்கங்கள்! அந்த பக்கத்தின் தலைப்பு சீனாவை வென்றது இந்தியா! அப்படியா என்று வியப்பவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து படியுங்கள்! ப்பூ இது நடக்காது என்று நினைப்பவர்கள் கட்டாயம் படியுங்கள், இது எப்படி நிகழ்ந்தது என்று தெரிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்! சீனாவை வென்றது இந்தியா! ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னாள் இந்தியாவில் ஒரு மாபெரும் தலைவரின் ஆட்சி நடந்து கொண்டு இருந்தது! அவர் எல்லோராலும் இரண்டாம் துக்ளக் என்று அன்பாக அழைக்கப்பட்டார். அவர் முதலாம் துக்ளக்கைவிட அறிவிலும் திறமையான முடிவுகள் எடுப்பதிலும் வித்தகர். சீன யுத்தத்திற்கு முன்னமே அவர் மிக பிரபலமாக இருந்தார். பாகிஸ்தான் மீது அவர் நடத்திய யுத்தமே அதற்கு காரணம்! அவர் தன்னுடைய விமானங்களை, மேகங்களில் மறைத்து ஓட்டிச் செல்ல வைத்தார். எதிரிக்கு தெரியாமலேயே ஏறக்குறைய 400க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மரங்கள் கொண்ட காட்டை அழித்தார்.  எதிரிக்கு அவருடைய சாணக்கிய தனம் புலப்படவில்லை. ஏன், நிறைய இந்துயர்கள்கூட அவரின் எண்ணங்க

There are many fallacies that abound the Mathematical and scientific realm! Of course, as keen observers many of us would have wondered about these fallacies. I was introduced to these kind of fallacies by my Maths Guru in school, Dr Shanmughamani. He was not a doctor at that time. But his thoughts and deeds were pretty clear. He was certainly destined for great things. One of the fallacies he recounted before starting the xxxxxx (I am not saying the subject lest I leak the answer to you), was the famous fallacy from Socrates, the Achilles and the Tortoise! Let me recount the story as it was told to me in my school days. Long forgotten, therefore, you might find it altered to suit my taste and style. The story goes this way. Socrates once told his group of students this story. He said: Gentleman, I will relate a story. Please tell me what is my mistake.  Once a tortoise approached Achilles for a running race! As you all know, Achilles was the fastest runner
